About Dr. Tarek Korban, DMD, MD
Dr. Korban completed his undergraduate studies at McGill University and Sherbrooke University, dental training at the University of Montreal, medical degree at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, General Surgery Internship and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Dr. Korban is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Korban practices the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with a particular interest in full mouth implant rehabilitation, orthognathic surgery, TMJ surgery and cosmetics. Dr. Korban maintains hospital privileges and teaches actively at Mount Sinai Hospital and other local hospitals. Dr. Korban speaks English, French, Spanish and Arabic.
Dr. Korban is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and other regional and national organizations.
Dr. Korban was raised in Montreal, Canada. He resides in Greenwich, Connecticut with his wife, Dr. Alicia Robbins, an Obstetrician/Gynecologist who also practices in Westchester NY and Greenwich CT. They have three children, Leo (4) , Max (3) and Otto (born April 2022). He enjoys time with his family, socializing, skiing, sailing and mountain biking.
